7) FAQ 7 ? I have health insurance, so I?m fine right?

Well, having just health insurance can leave you bankrupt and bloodied.

Exaggeration? Couldn’t be? Not to meee?

Well I may be wrong, let’s examine the facts.  And the facts about health insurance are…

1) 6 in 10 bankruptcies in America are from medical expenses.
2) And this shocks most people – one American family is being forced into medical bankruptcy every 45 seconds, of our families going bankrupt from medical expenses, the majority of them are middle class, college educated, homeowners and 8 in 10 have health insurance!

And this makes me extremely weary of relying on health insurance because if I get sick or hurt, is my health insurance going to pay everything?  Am I going to come out of my pocket?  Plus, what about my bills?

My health insurance doesn’t pay me while I am out of work, right?  So what these facts lead me to answer, to be safe, health insurance is clearly not enough because when I get sick or hurt, I need money, and I deserve not to be a statistic.
